1. Ceramics are brittle materials and are fully elastic within a certain load. The length, diameter, runout, smoothness, elastic modulus, disturbance, etc. of the roller table itself must meet the standards of ceramic rollers for glass tempering furnaces.
2. When designing the length and diameter of the ceramic roller , the ratio of length to diameter is an important parameter. The current international design standard is within 40, and most of them are between 36 and 38. The aspect ratio is 40. The critical range between 42 and 42 is a high-strength ceramic roller. Those more than 42 are non-standard ceramic roller. Special care should be taken in the design and use process.
3. Rollers with excessive aspect ratio are prone to the following problems:
The perturbation of the roller itself increases. Take a ceramic roller with a diameter of 75mm and a length of 2800mm as an example. The aspect ratio is 37.33 and the perturbation is 1.41mm. When the length is increased to 3150mm, the perturbation is increased when the aspect ratio is 42 To 2.25mm. If the aspect ratio is 44, the length of the roller is 3300mm, and the disturbance increases to 2.72mm. Such a large disturbance will definitely have a great influence on the flatness of the tempered large glasses or thin glass. Secondly, the roller itself The stability of the roller is reduced, it is easy to shake (vibrate), and the roller is easy to break after long-term use.
4. Rollers with an excess length to diameter ratio increase the cost and difficulty of processing for manufacturers. They need to choose larger and longer ceramic blanks for processing. Secondly, ceramic roller processing belongs to slender shaft processing. In order to ensure the roller’s Roundness, runout, diameter tolerance and surface finish, the more slender the product is, the more difficult it is to process, the production efficiency will decrease and the scrap rate will increase.
